Ravi is a senior executive with deep insights and experience in the market and the external environment impacting business in India. Ravi worked in the Information Technology (IT) industry and has contributed in significant ways to the growth and development of the industry through several public policy initiatives. Ravi has been actively engaged and contributed at the industry forums of MAIT, Nasscom and CII.

 

In his corporate career of over 30 years, Ravi worked as the Director for Strategy and Government Affairs at Hewlett Packard India as well as Managed the P& L as Director of the Commercial Personal Computing Business and Professional Services Businesses, System Integration and Managed Services at Compaq India.

 

He played a key role in creating and building the sales channels for Compaq and also subsequently managed the operational integration of Compaq and HP in India post the merger . Ravi also was instrumental in the planning and implementation of a country growth plan across all the HP business.

 

Ravi has also a deep understanding and good connections to the entrepreneurial eco- system in India through his role as the Executive Director of The Indus Entrepreneurs Bangalore, the global network of entrepreneurs with HQ in the Silicon Valley and with over 50 global chapters.

 

Ravi played a crucial role in the development and success of new start up entrepreneurs in India. He facilitated over 40 qualified start ups to be presented to venture firms.

 

More recently Ravi has accredited as a CEO and Executive Coach through Coaching Foundation India (CFI). He has coached executives to progress their professional and personal goals.

 

Ravi is a B. Tech from the India Institute of Technology, Madras and a PGDBA Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from India Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
