Pongtip is one of Thailand’s leading corporate public affairs communications practitioners with more than 20 years experience in areas of public relations, corporate communications and corporate public affairs management.

 

Ms. Pongtip Thesaphu is currently working at the Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG) as Vice President of Public Relations Department. TCG is a Specific Financial Institution (SFI) regulated by the Finance Ministry and whose main duty is to help Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs) gain access to finance. Her responsibility includes all corporate communications focusing on creating awareness of the organizations as well as its financial products.

 

Prior to working with Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation Pongtip worked for leading Thai and international organizations such as Unilever Thai Trading Limited, American Express (Thai) Co., Ltd., Colgate-Palmolive (Thailand) Ltd. and the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

 

She holds several societal positions such as director of the Public Relations Association of Thailand, and advisor to Thailand Institute of Packaging Management for Sustainable Environment. She is also a guest lecturer at Bangkok University.

 

Pongtip obtained a masters degree in public policy and a higher diploma in public administration and public law from the King Prachadhipok’s Institute, a parliamentary educational institution for high ranking civil servants and politicians.
