Kanji is a senior executive coach based in Tokyo, sought after by clients for his wealth of 34 years’ experience coaching leaders in Japan and other countries, and for being bilingual in both Japanese and English.

Kanji has held various management positions at Hewlett-Packard in the US, Japan and in the Asia Pacific including being a country CFO.  He has extensive knowledge and experience in Finance, Sales Administration, IT, HR and Sales, and a strong record of managing cross-functional team for designing and implementing key changes in businesses with effective coaching and interpersonal skills in various cultures.

More recently, Kanji has been consulting at a US-based manufacturing company following its acquisition of a Japanese company, providing not only HR and Finance advice, but also cross-cultural management counseling/coaching to ensure a smooth integration.

His experience in various locations also enables him to develop effective communication for clients internationally.

Kanji is passionate about ensuring that the promised benefits involved in a project are realised for the client, while ensuring that the leaders he coaches go on to further success in their careers on a global scale.

Educated in Tokyo, where he completed his undergraduate degree, he completed a number of classes from the MBA in the US while he was working full time.
