Joseph Fong  Hong Kong

Joseph Fong is an internationally experienced senior executive with a global perspective and an in-depth knowledge of the FMCG markets, high tech digital media and the high touch geopolitical landscape across Asia. He has more than 25 years in Corporate Public Affairs, Reputation Stewardship, Government Affairs, Corporate Strategy, Brand Management and Retailing across Asia Pacific.

 

Fong works with corporations, public sector agencies and peak industry groups on a full range of projects that include best practice management of the public affairs function, structural  and competency reviews, market access, policy development and advocacy, CSR and issues management strategy, reputation measurement and reviews, and stakeholder engagement strategy and community investment. Fong also provides senior executive mentoring focusing on effective stakeholder engagement in Asia.

 

Since the mid 80s, Joe managed Fortune 100 brands in Hong Kong, China, Korea and Australia, being the Country head, Asia Regional head for Corporate Strategy and Corporate Public Affairs and Vice President and General Manager of a global business in the U.S.

 

He is also a winner of the National Marketing Award for Excellence in Consumer Retail Marketing, the President’s Award in Marketing and Communications in Australia, Innovative Excellence in Marketing and Communications in a leading U.S. global corporation in the U.S.A.  Fong is also a former senior management team in winning the inaugural Australian Quality Prize, a former Board member of USITO and Business Software Alliance, he is on the Board of Governors for Institute Health and Management in Australia, Managing Partner of Achiever Consulting Group and also Managing Director of ACG Asia.
